Question: Fleet Maps & Breakdowns

Are you guys finding any value to the maps and breakdowns being posted?

If so please comment on what aspects are useful, or need improvement.   We have spent a lot of time trying to get these things formatted/looking right  but if there is no benefit to them,   we can stop wasting our time :)

  2. I use them. Maybe not so much the maps as the fleet breakdowns but that might be because it's still new for me. But to see exactly which ship is the most lethal one for me can be very useful.

  3. I find that fleet breakdowns is a must, the maps are useful if there are lots of hidden dangers like mines.
    Last raid I pretty much just did the assault over and over so did not use maps though.

  4. Next raid we will post some additional details that may make the map's more relevant I suppose. But if you have any suggestions please let us know, we have a month to prepare :)

  5. I found them useful, its nice knowing what your up against, and the layouts enable a level of planning that you just cant do before battle starts.

Very useful as is, most enemy ships (non viper/dict) have little concussive resistance, radioactive resist is up to 43% on some ships, ballistic is mostly unfeasible due to lack of serious range and to low an alpha damage to survive long, useful on typhoons but currently outdated. Missiles are pretty useless so far as i've seen unless there's a refit or faster firing missile on the horizon.

What i'm pretty sure is going to happen is a Cryo based hull similar to Nukes but geared for cryo launchers, for which we will have no resistance at all, There will be a limited )1 only) cryo Buff up hull, the regular Cryo hull and a cryo launcher with variants to follow. It would be helpful if we could find out if it's radioactive Cryo or just Cryo :D (hint)

    1. Cryo at this point is it's own class.. I totally agree with us seeing hulls and player cryo launchers in the horizon... I figure by Christmas, then we will start seeing cryo specials/armor around next summer.

    2. Robot has said in the forums that Cryo is radiation damage and affected by radiation resistance.

    4. I'm sure some people like looking at a hundred pages of stats.... but I liked the old style where it was just the sneak peaks of whats to come.

    5. Capn, the raw dumps is for people looking for certain info, and is short-term but available for reference.

      I have longer term plans that will help reduce the need for them, but I need time to complete everything else too :)

      Look out for more of the older style updates. We are continually improving our methods and reporting capabilities.
