How to exit your base when being attacked

One method, thanks for chris.bachini on the bp forums for explaining:

While being hit, click leaderboards option, select player medals for example in your world, click on one of the names and it will give you the option to find base, click it, and it will exit your base and go to that base on the map. Hope that helps. Could alternatively select your sector board.

Would be nice to have an official way to do it, but cool to have a back way to accomplish it for now at least!

Name calling? Really......

I rarely use the blog for this, but ever now and then you just have to use what you have at your disposal for a public shaming.

So why does failure so often turn into name calling?  Sure used a pinch, after 3 years at this, I'm not an idiot!  Take your lumps, admit you over played your hand and move on.

He lost his dreads in my neighbors base, then specifically asked to go against my stingrays.  He wasn't happy with my sub hunter fleet, so I brought the rays back out.  He hit them, got pinched and then whined about it.  What part of "got to play to win" did he miss?

5th August Update & Preliminary Raid Info

I'm curious to see how this base guarding change is going to affect things.. 30s is way more than I expected for cooldown for adding a base guard.   This seems way overkill and is on its way to removing external guarding fleets altogether. No idea if it's per person or tied to the base at this point however.
