Sneak Peak

Rumor has it we will be seeing some more R10 hulls in the near future..

Few of the ones suggested:

  • Barracuda  
  • Spectre
  • Missile Cruiser X
  • Strike Cruiser X
  • Thresher
  • Stingray

  1. This is great ... i just hope the dont cost a lot of urm and the retrofit time isnt too crazy .. I also hope they make make urm easier to get but doesnt involve stealing from other players ..

    2. urm costs will be there, if the toilet is any indication, in my opinion they aren't/won't be too bad. Granted I got used to 50k+ stupidity, so everything looks good now!

      Time on R5, 6 and 7 weren't too bad on the toilet. I'm on R9 now and it is a 7d one (and 25k urm), so figuring R10 will be 12-14 and 35k or so.

    2. Honestly not really interested in any of them. Not a sub user that much, Ballistic fleets aren't as good as the lastest tech, I have V2-Hs and the Hellstrike outshines the thresher.

  4. Mcx are and have been useless for 6 months. I was very happy for about a month to get r5 mcx only to see its uses decay with radiation tech.

  5. SCX was useful against Reaver ships before they all got the Compound X armor with insane reduction, now they do almost no damage.
    Even a +100% ballistic damage bonus will not make them useful

  6. MCX r5 was 106K uranium or so, not the 50 plus someone mentioned above. My response to them didnt show up so putting it here instead.

    1. I'm not sure if that's what he/she means ofcourse, but I think the total amount was 156ish k uranium for R1 through R5. I can't find the update post on kix forums though so can't doublecheck.

  7. I was looking at starting SC-X retros. If so, I hope they reduce R1-5 Uranium requirements like they did with Hellstrike and Reaper. I have always been fond of Ballistic weaponry, but by time I got a good hull for it, Reavers were out and ballistics went to ineffecient
