9/26 update, what to expect in FM 17 next week.....

Alliances can now have up to 100 members (may have always been able to, but comment about it now).

For Oct 2 FM: Piranha Drone Modules and the Rampart Hull - the new stalwart of base defense.

Expect new targets forthcoming, Military Strong Holds, unknown how they differ yet.

Update Oct 1:  A new Forsaken Mission is available! NEW TARGETS: Military Strongholds have emerged on the World Map. Destroy them. NEW BLUEPRINTS AVAILABLE: Piranha Drone Modules and the Rampart Hull - the new stalwart of base defense. Missions will only be available for a limited time so equip your fleets and prepare for battle!

It looks like Military Outposts will be levels:
0, 5, 9, 14, 18, 22, 27, 34, 40, 47, 55 and 65

New Weapon (3 tiers, just using the pic for Piranah Depth Charges 1 for now), unsure if this will just be the weapons on the new drones or ones we can get going forward, haven't dug much yet :

Pic of the Baby Toilet, I mean goliath (New name:  Rampart):
Desc:  A nearly immobile floating bulwark, drawing upon Forsaken defensive advances to ballistic weaponry.
Pic of the new drones (3 tiers of these):
Desc:  A carrier module that launches swarming drones armed with miniaturized versions of the lethal Piranha Depth Charges.


New upcoming special???
Something that ups Max Weight perhaps (part of a ship design, not sure if it is on the Rampart or a special or what that may be coming)

    Hey Xinh... Did you know there's a new Flak Gun defensive ship mounted weapon in the works?

    Saw it on BP Outpost, with screenshot. It shoots down missiles and rockets, plus it's more accurate. Drac Tech.

    So far, no official announcement, but I thought you'd find it interesting to blog about.

    Second note:
    I don't know why, but most of the time, when I check this page, I do not get the comments loaded up. I don't know why, nor do I know if it affects others. If you have some insight on this matter, please let us know.

      It had been in the system long before I found it, but that was when I first noticed it. Will be interesting to see if Kixeye finally gets around to releasing it now.

      2. Comments. Yeah I have the same problem sometimes too. It has to do with the theme I'm using I think. If I switch themes I don't seem to have the same problem, but I lose the comments on the same page and you can only post comments by clicking on the link and getting routed to another page. I just hit F5 any time the banner isn't the "odd" orange color above, but even that doesn't always work and have to go and switch browsers. Will try to play around with it some more again, but only so much control over it since it is googles blog. (you'd think it would work seamlessly in chrome)

      Let me know if you still have this issue. It was hit/miss for me, I found his youtube vid that had me change a timeout value and now it is working for me in my quick test.
