One method, thanks for chris.bachini on the bp forums for explaining:
While being hit, click leaderboards option, select player medals for example in your world, click on one of the names and it will give you the option to find base, click it, and it will exit your base and go to that base on the map. Hope that helps. Could alternatively select your sector board.

Would be nice to have an official way to do it, but cool to have a back way to accomplish it for now at least!
This can and cannot work properly though. I did it a few days ago but when I got to the world map my stalker that I use for base defense showed up on the world map and nothing loaded. So had to refresh anyway..
