Update earlier in the week of May 24th, 2014

Updated 6:15PM 5/24/2014 - guess I could add the pics...
Updated 10:45PM 5/27/2014 - descriptions, name change and more....

New Weapons
  • Coaxial Turret
  • Baby Slow Jav Harpoon (as of 5/27/2014) - Long-range, light cannon outfitted with basic disruption technology. A comprehensive long-range defense turret for conventional base layouts.
Perhaps these 2, plus whatever I posted a few weeks ago (Incendiary Shells) will be FM prizes next week.  Guess we'll see.

  • Incendiary Shells - Mortars may create Fire Fields.

  1. "A coaxial weapon mount places two weapons on [roughly] the same axis - as the weapons are usually side-by-side or one on top of the other"

Maybe it's a double firing turret.

  5. I am still waiting for Sentinel 6 - love the range and the fact that they always hit their target, but they need more firepower.

  6. Well.... I think that the term Coaxial is simply a reference to the rotating barrels and not the actual combination of the attack method used by two different weapons (e.g. antimissile and for instance ballistic), but Maybe the effects of two weapon genres may be combined (e.g. Ripper and stun, or slow). I think it's something that will resemble a rapid firing ballistic weapon, such as the Ripper or the chain gun (It's forsaken so most likely Ripper), I expect this because there is an absence of this type of weapon within the base weapons genre.
