Ok, I try not to troll the forums too often, but I've had such a great laugh of late.

People are always saying they are going to boycott this raid or that one, or that they are going to quit if kix doesn't make this change or that, etc, etc.  I wish half of them would, then maybe the forums would quiet down a bit.

People were complaining that Kix didn't release the info on what was coming, yet half the world knows about either this site or bpoutposts fb page which leek info early all the time.  Maybe it isn't official, but there is info out.  If Kix really didn't want it out, they could easily not make it available via the way I get it!

But then what happens, Kix gives the stats out 36 hrs early and there is a forum rant about how it is going to ruin the game.  It very well may, but the game changes constantly and it will change again next month, and the month after that again.

The game changes, it gets imbalanced one way or the other constantly, its a game, get over it.  Roll with it or move on to another game.

Its a battle game, war isn't fair, someone always has bigger weapons.  Your base won't hold every type of fleet out anymore, that has been the case before, it will be the case again in the future.

Repair button works the same for everyone, log on, hit it, come back later.  Or coin it.

(Update 8/16) - Every 5th will be "different".  1-4 = Drac Hulls (based on old notes), not sure what the 5th will be (may be like last raid or something new or may just be like previous ones like this).  Haven't found what the code means just yet.

I believe you'll be able to do the raid twice, but I can't guarantee that (oh wait this is all best guess).  So far they haven't provided info on what the "new" prizes will be on tier 1-4, but I'm guessing on the type they are below.  I'll post pics as soon as I have them updating this page instead of creating a new blog post.  So check back from time to time.

Reputation Points

I'll admit, I haven't played with these at all yet and I don't have the fleets to verify this info, but based on v5 of the file here is the current breakdown of reputation points.

Drac Bases:
600 - Sub-Sector Base (overall base?)
100 - Drac Base Command
70 - Drac Fleet Command
50 - Nemesis Drac Base Defense Fleet (Atlas - still "atlas" in underlying files!!!)
40 - Hab Blocks 1-4
20 - Sub-Sector Base Defense Outpost (Artillery pieces?)
20 - Underground Storage
10 - Producers (Energy/Metal/Zyn/Oil)
10 - Drac Def Platform (individual turrets?)
10 - Interior Drac Base Defense Fleet (Juggs, Dreadx)
5 - Drac Quad Def Platform
5 - Perimeter Drac Base Def Fleet (SC, MC, Inter, BC, Torp Platform)

Fleets on the water:
5 - Salvage (up to 10  levels below you up to lvl 35 for the player??)
10 - Elite Salvage (up to 10 levels below you up to lvl 60 for the player, then 50 and above after that??)

Think that means a level 35 can hit a normal salvage of 25 or above for 5 points.

A level 59 can hit an elite salvage of 49+ and get points, but after lvl 60 you can only hit elites 50+.

Looks like someone else has produced a nice picture version of info.  This showed up on my alliance page as I was in the process of posting this!  Only real difference is I break down the Interior vs Perimeter Def Fleet points, but they have a great pic of it all and resources you get!

Dragon's Nest 2

Ok, the next raid (July 25th if they hold to info) looks like it will be Dragon's Nest 2.

Past raid hulls look like they'll be made available. (no i have no idea which ones)

Drac bases....

haha, between the time I hit publish and the time I got back into the game, the shields had dropped and it looks like I can now attack drac bases.

Only took 2 years to be able to do it!  Cool, something new to entertain me.

Update:
Ok, what we've noticed from our sector, probably lots of this on the forums, but I rarely go there:

1.  Take out the outside defense platforms first, or have had people attack it to where the artillery is disabled.
2.  Attack Drac Outpost after platforms are disabled, if you attack prior then you'll take inbound artillery which tore up the fleet I watched in there.
3.  After the defense platforms have been attacked (and I assume all fleets inside are killed) they go into disabled state and repair mode so you can't hit them again for a certain amount of repair time.  During that time there was no inbound artillery on the fleets hitting the drac outpost.

All these are early findings, subject to change and full of inaccuracies or the possibility there of.

7/2/2013 update, pre mini event 12 prep

Ok, first to everything you already know if you logged on.

Wall 5 is now released.  Damn talk about needing a lot of Zyn, or for you coiners that keep kixeye in business, thank you!

Locator replaces bookmark option.  Looks like we now at least have the following options (or will I haven't looked in game much yet):

• Recent Attackers

Dragon's Nest

No idea what has already floated around on the BP forums, but here is what I have.  No idea what of these will show up in Dragon's Nest, but never do, so why should this post be any different!

Ok, so my guess at Dragon's Nest based on the latest updates:

• Tier 5: Disruptor Cannon
• Tier 4: Mauler (was known as Kraken before)
• Tier 1-3:  Counter Measures 1-3

Note:  I've updated the order and the name since my original post 10 mins ago.  I'm basing Tier4/5 based on DH3 and the Mercury/Rail Gun prizes.  Purely playing the odds from the way it was last released!

The Mauler looks like this:

Description on it:  An aggressive hull with enhanced attack capabilities.

Size:  Same as the Mercury 

I know it has probably been floating around as someone sent me a pic with supposed stats a bit ago.  I can't verify those stats though so I won't pass them on at this time.

Based on what I can see it is not defined as a sub (at least at this point, nor does it look like one to me).

I'm sure we all saw the alliance popup message about some change happening there (I'll admit, didn't read it), but a few other things happening behind the scenes also....

Name Change:
Nuclear Combustion special from a week or two ago (still not released), now looks like its had a possible name change to Combustion System.

Piranha Depth Charge 1-3 (will the name stay?)

More stuff I'll probably never own, still have a lot of missing stuff in the weekly Tier3 missions and all I really want is for the Compound E to come back and let me actually win it instead of all this other stuff I'll never use!!!

Whats new 5/30/2013 - nothing

Nothing new in this weeks update, at least as far as what I track.

What just because I'm a day late you didn't think I wouldn't look at what they added this week did you?

So 2 of the 3 main things added to the specials we all know about:

• Concussive Upgrade I
• Evade Upgrade I

But there is also another new special not yet released, which is pictured above:

• Nuclear Combustion

Edit 5/25: we were initially guessing on this just by the picture, hadn't found the desc at the time yet

We'll see as time goes on. (or we'll go off the description splash and speed increase for explosive weapons).

On the weapons front there is a lot of holes in the data I see.  3 new weapons, no new names (one may be a bombard drac weapon).  I still have 6 holes from a previous files too, so maybe I should look harder one of these days.  Oh well.

Looks like 3 new types of drac drones also, I assume they'll either show up this raid, or perhaps they are actually the ones we get now, but don't have much more than a few pics.  One of them below.

Why I ask you not to link to my blog in kixeye forums

The #1 reason I prefer you don't link to my blog in the forums is that kixeye doesn't like external links to sites in the forums.  

Ultimately if someone uses google, typically within 24 hours of me posting my blog is rated higher on the list than anything Kixeye has out there, so it shouldn't be hard for people to find the site on their own.  Perhaps just tell them to google for whatever the latest raid name is.

If you do inadvertently post links to my blog on the forums be aware they may remove the link.  If you see others that post it, please be careful in how you ask them to remove it and don't inadvertently quote it in the response to them also.

As of my last check, no new details I could tell about new stuff than what I'd already posted.  Will keep an eye on it again over the next few days and do an updated post if I find pictures or new details.

Drac Hunt 4

Ok, we'll start with the normal disclaimer, my best guess, subject to change, etc, etc.

New Hull:

No stats on ship size or number of weapon slots yet.

At this time no pictures of any of them.  I didn't dig too much, but will look as the week progresses and possible update this post in the next few days.  Typically it is all posted by now, but not this week.

Unknown if the stingray is the same one they discussed on the wish list 6 months ago.

Other news:
Looks like they may have either put some more error checking in the game or they have just exported the data to where it is easier to update:

Plus a few others, but they weren't ship related.

A few in there seem to indicate errors if you are trying to clone fleets or ships from fleet to fleet.  Will be interesting to see if this helps cut down on cloning or not.

Mini Event #9 set to start in about 12 hours, it appears we may have a few new things to win this mission:
